BECOMING A MEMBER

HOW TO JOIN THE CREDIT UNION FOR SOUTH EAST NORTHUMBERLAND

Becoming a member with your local CUSEN couldn't be simpler, as we have several methods of application that are designed around whatever suits the needs of our future members. Membership costs £2, and members are encouraged to make consistent savings into their accounts (although these savings do not need to be a large figure!)

VISIT OUR OFFICES OR COLLECTION POINTS

Membership application forms can be downloaded from our website, and are available at both our branch offices in Ashington and Blyth, as well as at all of our collection points. Once you have the application form, simply fill it in and hand it back at your nearest collection point with the requisite proof of identity, and we'll do the rest! Please follow the link for further information on how to Contact Us. For more information on acceptable ID, please see the 'Proof Of Identity' section further on this page.

PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION FOR YOUNG SAVERS

The trustee opening an account for a young saver must provide proof of identity and proof of address as for an adult account. If the trustee is an existing member with CUSEN, and has already provided the relevant documents for their own account, then this is not needed. However, we will need to see the junior member's ID.
